The Green Line Shady mixture has been formulated to produce a fine textured and dense turf.  It is well suited for establishing grass in shady areas, either under trees or between buildings.  The inclusion of a dwarf Perennial Rye Grass will give quick establishment and act as a nurse crop for the slower to develop shade tolerance species.  It is important to note that infrequent mowing is the secret to a successful shade tolerant sward.
