Mollichaff Original has been developed through extensive research and field trials on variations of length of chop, blend of molasses, mixtures of hay and straw to provide the best Molassed Chaff available. It is made from locally grown selected natural forages. This is to ensure maximum efficiency in quality control. The special method of manufacture ensures that any dust present in the forage is extracted during production. Limestone is added to provide Calcium to help maintain healthy muscular skeletal system.

The Mollichaff range of chaffs - Original, Extra, Herbal and AppleChaff - has been developed through extensive research and field trials on hay and straw mixtures, length of chop, and blend of molasses. The resulting products are made from top quality straws which are dust extracted, chopped and then lightly mixed with a blend of low sugar molasses. This is done using a special process that coats every part of the chaff evenly to make it very palatable. It also gives Mollichaff an open texture, unlike heavy molassed chaffs which can be sticky and lumpy.
